We're building an e-learning platform for the commercial shipping and maritime industry—and we're just getting started. With 315K+ YouTube subscribers and a community of 25K+ followers, ShipScope is where domain expertise meets cutting-edge technology. Our entire business runs on Odoo ERP, and we've built one of the most comprehensively configured implementations you'll find at a startup of our size. Now we're looking for talented individuals to help us take this expertise to the next level.
The Opportunity
This isn't your typical internship. We're building a new business vertical—enterprise ERP implementation services for SMEs. As a Management Trainee in our ERP Solutions division, you'll learn Odoo ERP implementation from the ground up, starting with our own battle-tested setup as your learning lab. You'll then build complete ERP solutions for real businesses across different industries—retail, food & beverage, services, and more.
Our long-term vision is to become a certified Odoo partner, serving SMEs in Kolhapur and across western Maharashtra. You'll be among the first people building this capability.
What You'll Experience
You'll be immersed in all aspects of modern ERP implementation:
- Master Odoo's core modules: Accounting, CRM, Sales, Inventory, POS, HR, Payroll, Website, eLearning, and more
- Learn Indian business compliance in Odoo: GST, fiscal positions, PF/ESI, payroll, Chart of Accounts
- Design and build complete ERP solutions for real businesses in retail, F&B, and services
- Understand the full implementation lifecycle: requirement gathering, gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, and go-live
- Prepare for and earn your official Odoo Functional Certification (Pearson VUE)
- Create implementation playbooks, SOPs, and client training documentation
This is a 360-degree learning experience. You won't be stuck doing one task—you'll work across modules, industries, and business processes to discover where your strengths truly shine.
Who Thrives Here
We're looking for self-starters who:
- Have completed graduation in Computer Science, IT, BCA, MCA, or a related technical discipline
- Possess a genuine interest in business software and how technology transforms businesses
- Have basic familiarity with databases, web technologies, or programming concepts
- Are fluent in both Hindi and English (written and spoken)
- Bring strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Are detail-oriented, methodical, and precise
- Thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same
- Are resourceful, self-driven learners who can work through documentation independently
- Want to be part of something bigger than themselves
Bonus Points If You Have
- Prior exposure to any ERP system (Odoo, SAP, Tally, Zoho, ERPNext)
- Experience with Python, XML, or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals (GST, invoicing)
- Experience in customer-facing roles or client communication
- Knowledge of retail, F&B, manufacturing, or services business processes

Your performance during the internship will determine your specialized role as a permanent team member.

- Office-based position in Kolhapur with Monday–Friday full days and Saturday first half. Sundays off and all public holidays observed.
